PPPP Paper is a Carolina packaging distributor, who has been buying stretch films from AEP. They had not been into selling polyolefin shrink films. AEP introduced Snyder to the complete line of Flxtite retail display shrink films, including biaxially oriented polyolefin shrink films.
Larry, one of PPPP’s sales representatives, had been calling on GGG Products in North Carolina. GGG Products manufactures various mirror products and packages them on a “C- Pack” shrink packaging L-sealer and tunnel. GGG Products was using monthly pallet loads of wide sized Syfan 701 polyolefin shrink film in 33″CF X 75 gauge and 40″CF X 75 gauge. Larry convinced GGG Products to evaluate the Flxtite AP-1 NON-IRRADIATED multi-layer biaxially oriented polyolefin shrink film.
Larry contacted Flxtite and requisitioned a sample roll of the 33″CF X 75 AP-1 for testing at GGG Products, and scheduled a test date for film evaluation. Needless to say, the Flxtite AP-1 film performed remarkably well, while, at the same time, offering better optical properties. Both GGG Products and PPP Paper are now satisfied Flxtite customers.
